The whole world saw what happened on the Italy vs Uruguay match. Yes, Uruguay won and went to the next round knocking the Italian team out of the tournament, but no one is talking about that. Suarez, the Uruguayan striker who has emerged as one of the best players in the world over the past year has bitten Giorgio Chiellini, an Italian defender. This is what in everyone’s head now. This is the third time Suarez has bitten someone. A vine video went viral where you can see all three Suarez bites over and over again.
The first victim of Suarez’s bite was PSV Eindhoven midfielder Otman Bakkal while he was playing for Dutch club Ajax. He was banned for seven matches in 2010 for this.

The next incident happened in 2013. This time Suarez was playing for Liverpool. He was banned 10 matches for biting the arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic. Suarez eventually released a statement saying “I acknowledge that my actions were not acceptable on the football pitch.”

Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini was his third victim. The referee failed to pick up what Suarez did and he continued to play the rest of the match. Thanks to the technology, all the TV replays and photographs clearly show what really happened.
